drowning
the sun's been cast and the die
is rolling, tarnished sweet surfaces
of love strolling, 'long the rough-hewn
board-walk of life
i'm drowning
ice cream cones and laughter, friends
and the smell of healthy sunshine,
water lapping at your toes and such
perfection
i'm drowning and i can't
look at the beautiful shells and
pick some up, no one will miss them,
put them in your red plastic bucket,
no one will care
i'm drowning and i can't breathe,
please save
giggle at the guys as they walk by,
and know that you'll never make the
catch - but hey, what's to stop from
hoping?
i'm drowning and i can't breathe,
please save me from this fate,
i don't deserve
if the ice cream melts before you
can eat it, don't worry 'cause you
can just buy another; there aren't
any limits
i'm drowning and i can't breathe,
please save me from this fate,
i don't deserve to die, i don't deserve
to cry, but
words can't help me now.
the ink is revolting, the pen is
scorching my flesh, but i can't
let go 'cause i'm drowning in
falsities, i'm drowning in the
tidal waves of lies, i'm

Literature
The End
life is fast and death is quick
hearts slow down and minds play tricks
bodies fade and souls lose hope
reaching for the past, hands grope
searching for what can't be grasped
words will weaken into gasps
broken thoughts and shattered dreams
bursting from us at the seams
fear takes hold, time slips away
we grow sicker day by day
the pain won't stop, the hurt stays strong
it's been inside us all along
but will it end when we all die?
and in the ground our carnage lies?
Literature
The End
I'm so lonely so I begged the walls to talk to me
but they won't want to talk to someone they can't see
I begged the wind to blow through my soul
and it replied at me and said it cant blow through a chest full of holes
I begged the rain to wash my pain
and it refused to wash to my heart because It's filled with stains
I begged my shadow to fight back
and it refused and said it can't fight with someone can't get himself on the right track
I begged myself to get ready to take its last breathe
but it replied and me and said if it do that I'm not gonna see the angel of death
I begged life and kept on begging and it said
that I sho

Possibly the most disturbing poem I've ever written. I know it's kind of rough and yucky and first drafty, but comments and critiques and the like are absolutely welcome.
